Spared No Expense

Spared No Expense is an energetic original abstract artwork from the Primal Energy collection, built through layers of fluorescent colour, expressive brushwork, spray-painted textures and spontaneous hand-drawn marks.

Vivid pinks, electric blues, acid greens, bright yellows and orange tones overlap across the surface, interrupted by bold black gestures, drips, splashes and softer atmospheric areas. Small prehistoric forms and dinosaur silhouettes are hidden throughout the composition, connecting the piece to the wider collection while allowing the colour and movement to remain the main focus.

The narrow vertical format gives the artwork a strong sense of upward momentum, with details appearing and disappearing as the eye moves across the surface. The result is playful, chaotic and full of discoveries, capturing the instinctive creative process that sits beneath Martin Brennan’s larger dinosaur paintings.

Painted entirely by hand in Martin’s Birmingham studio, every mark, splash and variation is unique. Spared No Expense is a bold contemporary original designed to add colour, personality and energy to a modern interior.
