Orange Triceratops

100x100cm Acrylic and mixed media on Canvas

A powerful Triceratops emerges through layers of vivid orange, fluorescent colour and expressive handmade marks in this bold original artwork from the Primal Energy collection.

The dinosaur’s distinctive horns and armoured form are defined with strong black outlines, while energetic splashes, drips and layered textures create movement across the surface. Bright contrasting details cut through the orange tones, giving the piece a dramatic, almost illuminated appearance.

Rather than presenting the Triceratops as a traditional prehistoric illustration, Martin Brennan reimagines it through a contemporary visual language. Controlled drawing meets spontaneous mark-making, allowing the recognisable dinosaur to sit within a surface filled with colour, chaos and raw creative energy.

Painted by hand in Martin’s Birmingham studio, every brushstroke, splash and imperfection forms part of the finished work. The result is a vibrant statement piece designed to bring colour, personality and impact to a modern interior.
